AIPSO holds conference at Dhanvantri Bhawan

JAMMU, Feb 19: All India Peace and Solidarity Organization (AIPSO), J&K Chapter held its conference at Dhanvantri Bhawan, here wherein a large number of senior citizens, political and social activists from both the regions of Jammu and Kashmir participated, today.
During the conference, the participants expressed their anguish over the large scale of death and destruction in the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia which has badly affected the economic condition of the whole world.
The conference urged both India and Pakistan to strengthen their mutual trust and friendship and resolve all the contentious issues through dialogue and peaceful means. The participants also appealed to the people of J&K to maintain peace and communal harmony to defeat the evil design of fascist and divisive forces.
The conference also elected their office bearers including Ashwani Kapoor as president, Comrade Rakesh Sharma, member of the National Council CPI as general secretary and Rajendar and Advocate GH Mohd as vice presidents along with 11 members’ state committee, besides two delegates were also elected to attend the conference of AIPSO scheduled to be held at Chandigarh.
Comrade GM Mizrab, secretary CPI J&K and others were also present during the conference.
