JAMMU, Oct 26: A two days special workshop on “Effective Teaching of English” was organized by Air Force School Jammu under the aegis of Air-Headquarters New Delhi, which concluded here, today.
Air Commodore PE Patange, YSM, VM, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion.
In the workshop, Nisha Singh was the resource person from Machmillan Education, New Delhi. She brightly exposed the new models of teaching English like VAK (Visual Audio Kinesthetic), BISC (Basic Interpersonal Communication Skills) to reform the teaching of English. The concept was “Motivating and not just teaching”.
Earlier, the workshop was inaugurated by Gp Capt S Pati, Chief Administrative Officer of Air Force Station Jammu.
Vikesh Sandhal, Principal Air Force School Jammu in his welcome addrerss unfolded the technological advancements which are newly added in English Teaching-Learning process.
