JAMMU: Air Officer Commanding-In-Chief, Western Air Command Air Marshal C Hari Kumar visited to Air Force Station Jammu and reviewed the operations preparedness, besides other functioning.
Accompanied by Devika Hari Kumar, President of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional), Western Air Command, Air Marshal was received by Air Commodore S K Mishra, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jammu.
The Air Marshal interacted with the Officers, Air Warriors, DSC Personnel and the civilian staff of the station and visited various units, sections of the station. He expressed satisfaction at the Operational, Maintenance and Administrative aspects of functioning of the station and appreciated the professionalism of the personnel and exhorted them to constantly strive to achieve even higher standards in all spheres of activity in service of the Nation.
During the interaction with Air warriors of the station, he brought out the existing security scenario in the region and need to maintain continued vigil. He also visited the troops and Field Commanders of units deployed at forward areas appreciating their high morale and operational readiness. As part of his visit, the Air Marshal also inaugurated “State of The Art” Gymnasium. (AGENCIES)
