JAMMU, Jan 3: Raj Nath Bhat a news reader and broadcaster with All India Radio, Kashmir, Doordarshan Srinagar and JK Channel breathed his last here, yesterday due to cardiac arrest.
Bhat was among the few news readers of Kashmir who during the peak time of militancy served the Radio Kashmir as a news reader after the news room of Radio Kashmir was shifted to Jammu. Later he was also associated with J K Channel. His adept storytelling and articulate delivery made the news come alive, establishing him a trusted voice in media landscape.
