SRINAGAR, Jan 19: Air traffic at Srinagar International Airport was on Saturday suspended due to fresh snowfall and poor visibility, an official of airport said. No flight could operate since morning as the visibility was very poor due to snowfall, he said.
Though the flights were not cancelled as there was chance of improvement in the weather, he said adding, flights will resume only after reassessment at 1130 hrs.
This is the third time air traffic was suspended at Srinagar airport this month so far.
Meanwhile, there is a forecast for moderate to heavy snowfall during the next three days from tomorrow in the valley which again could affect air besides surface traffic. (UNI)
