JAMMU, Dec 16: Bharti Airtel (Airtel), India’s leading telecommunications services provider has launched Ist 30 meters Rural Ultra-lean tower in village Pandori, situated nearly 20 kms from Jammu.
This is the first site for this category of towers and has been built by Indus Towers Ltd. The lean tower, product by Indus Towers, has been specially selected for installation to fit the topography of Jammu & Kashmir.
True to its name, the Rural Ultra Lean Tower is compact and occupies minimum space with low power requirement & 4-5 hours of battery backup other than fixed metered based electricity connection. This tower will provide latest data technology access to people of the village.
With 5G rollout under progress, Airtel in collaboration with Indus Towers Ltd is planning to install more such towers in rural villages of Jammu & Kashmir in coming days to ensure uninterrupted network services to the people of J&K.
On this occasion, Ajay Khajuria (Marketing Head JK Circle), Mohammad Farooq (CTO Airtel JK Circle), Sukesh Thareja (Circle CEO Indus Towers JK circle). Majid Hussain (ZBM,Jammu) were present along with other respective company representatives of Airtel & Indus Towers.
