AISF launches campaign against abolition of NET fellowship

JAMMU, Nov 13: Up in arms against the UGC decision of abolishing fellowship to the scholars, who qualify UGC NET, All India Students Federation has announced `Chalo Parliament’ campaign on November 17, to raise the issue.
The AISF has been garnering support for the `Chalo Parliament’ campaign and in this connection, series of meetings are being held by the organization across the country.
AISF State president Er Ajaz Ahmad has also appealed all the members of the Federation and student activists to take part in the movement for Chalo Parliament and register a strong protest against the UGC decision, which will not only deprive thousands of scholars from getting the benefit of stipend but also discourage research works.
