Ajat Shatru reviews facilities at RaghunathJi Temple Suchetgarh

MLC Ajat Shatru Singh paying obeisance at Raghunathji Temple at Suchetgarh on Thursday.

JAMMU, Dec 5: Member Legislative Council  Ajat Shatru Singh today said that Suchetgarh would become hub of border tourism activities in future, adding that Government utilised crores of rupees for creation of tourist related infrastructure at pilgrim sites in the area during last few years.
This was stated by the Legislator, who is also Vice Chairman of Dharmarth Trust of J&K, during his visit to Suchetgarh Raghunathji Temple and Zeyarat Sharief .
He took stock of the facilities kept available by the Government for visiting pilgrims and directed concerned to take all necessary steps for improvement of different facilities for the convenience of tourists including pilgrims.
The Legislator on the occasion also paid obeisance at holy Raghunathji Temple and Neela Peer Shrine, where special pooja was also organised.
The caretakers of the Trust met the Legislator and put forth their problems including providing of adequate drinking water facilities. The Trustee-cum-Vice Chairman gave them patient hearing and assured them that their all genuine demands would be looked into.
He asked them to maintain cleanliness in and around these holly temples and shrines.
President, Dharamarth Trust Jammu and Kashmir, Retd. Major General R. S. Jamwal, Secretary, Dharmath Trust, Jammu and Kashmir Sehshi Khajuria and wife of  Ajat Shatru Singh also accompanied the MLC during the tour.
