Ajatshatru inaugurates Shri Amaranth Ji Yatra registration counter

JAMMU, June 27:  Former  Minister and Member Legislative Council, Ajatshatru Singh inaugurated Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra registration counter at Shri Ram Mandir Purani Mandi, Jammu, here today.
On an invitation from Mahant Rameshwar Dass of the famous Ram Temple, Purani Mandi, Ajatshatru Singh alongwith his son  Ranvijay Singh,  visited the ancient temple to inaugurate the Yatra Registration counter. After inaugurating the counter, he interacted with the large number of Sadhus and other pilgrims staying in the temple. He inquired about various facilities being provided to the pilgrims and instructed the officials to ensure all help to the pilgrims who are coming from across the country.
While lauding the efforts being made by Mahant Rameshwar Dass and his team of volunteers to facilitate yatries, Ajatshatru thanked them for looking after pilgrims and providing them with all sorts of help. He expressed hope that Shri Amaranth Ji Yatra 2017 will be highly successful and incident-free. He appealed all the people of the State to extend full support and cooperation in this regard. He said that demonic forces hell bent on creating problems for peace-loving people of the State have posed a threat to the State and it is the duty of the people to defeat all nefarious designs of such disruptive forces.  He said that with the blessings of Lord Shiva,  the State will soon see a new phase of development, peace and prosperity under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister  Narendra Modi.
Ajatshatru Singh and his son  Ranvijay Singh also offered Langar Seva by serving food to the pilgrims amid chanting of Vedic mantras. The duo thanked the Sadhu Samaj for their blessings and requested them to pray for long lasting peace in the state.
Mahant Rameshwar Dass thanked the legislator for his active support and help in making various arrangements for Shri Amaranth Ji Yatra. Prominent among those,  who attended the function,  include Sunanda Mehta, SDM Incharge Yatra, Ashish Sareen and Vijay Mohan.
