Ajay Nanda inspects development works in Reasi town

Asks officers to formulate plans for more civic projects

REASI: Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Information Technology, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, FCSCA, Tribal Affairs, Relief & Rehabilitation and Labor & Employment, Ajay Nanda today toured the Reasi town and inspected the ongoing development works.

The Minister was accompanied by a team of officers of Reasi Municipality, Urban local bodies and prominent citizens.

The Minister visited to several wards of the town and inspected the ongoing development works for improving lanes and drains. He instructed the officers to prepare the estimates and proposals for 25 more works for development of the town.

The Minister also visited the site of community hall/bathroom at Nai Basti where he instructed the officers to take up other allied works to create all other facilities for the people. He also inspected the work of bath complex coming up at Bus stand.

The concerned officers were also directed to take up repairs and installation of street lights where ever required so that people do not face any trouble while moving during night hours.

The Minister also instructed the Municipality Reasi for regular inspection of civic amenities in the town and ensure daily lifting of garbage and waste material. He called for garbage collection from all the localities of the town.

Meanwhile, local people put forth several issues and the Minister assured that all their demands would be met in a phased manner.
