JAMMU, Sept 27: Continuing with ongoing process of inter-party election, National Conference (NC) delegates of district Kathua Urban today elected Ajeet Kumar Sharma as district NC president.
The election was held under the supervision of Prem Sagar Aziz, former Minister and senior NC leader.
Ajeet Kumar was greeted and garlanded on his re-election as district NC president for Kathua Urban.
A handout stated that name of Ajeet Kumar was proposed by K.K Bakshi, delegate and seconded by S. Harpreet Singh Sethi, delegate and he was declared elected unanimously.
Those who were present on the occasion were Shakeel Ahmed, Pardeep Kesar, Mukhtair Chand, Mohd Sharief Wani, Abdul Gani, Devender Mehta, Suresh Sharma, Bawa Ditta, Harjit Singh, Ravinder Salathia, Anoop Gupta, Susant Gupta, Ashfaq Ahmed and Shakir Hussain.
