JAMMU, Mar 19: The All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association, Province Jammu, marked its Foundation Day by organizing a cycle rally under the theme “Say No to Drugs.” The rally, in collaboration with the Cycle Association Udhampur, started from Jakheni Chowk in Udhampur to promote healthy living and raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.
Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, the chief guest of the event, encouraged the youth to adopt healthy habits such as cycling, yoga and sports to avoid the negative impacts of drugs on health and society.
After the rally, a lunch was organized at the Old Age Home for elderly people and children, conveying a message of solidarity and support. Prem Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner, was the chief guest at this part of the program and emphasized the importance of sports for a healthy nation. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Jai Singh, Tehsildar Udhampur and Sham Saroop, Provincial President.
