AJKL Teachers Federation discusses trade union scenario, highlights demands

JAMMU, Apr 3: A day-long session of the representatives of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation was held here today to discuss the prevailing trade union scenario and long pending demands of the teaching community.
The session was held under the presidium of Balwan Singh Jamwal, Manga Ram Sharma, Joginder Singh Manhas, Vijay Kumar Sharma, and Sudershan Sharma.
Speakers on the occasion, highlighted various demands, including senior teacher grade to undergraduate teachers, dislocation allowance, enhancement of retirement age of teaching community, clean transfer policy etc.
While addressing the session, Balwan Singh Jamwal strongly criticized the State Government for its failure to implement the genuine demands of the employees in general and teaching community in particular. He appealed to all the factions of EJAC to form a common platform by leaving aside their difference for the larger interest of the employees to achieve the goal.
Prominent among those who participated and addressed the session, included, Subash Chander Sharma, Daljit Singh Bahu, Nresh Choudhary, Tara Chand, Shamsher Singh, Inderjeet Gupta, Sanjeevan Singh Jamwal, Sarwar Khan, Ajay Sharma, Jeet Singh, Mohan Lal Sharma, Pawan Kumar Gupta, Hardeep Singh, Joginder Guhalati, Jagdeep Singh Lengah, Naresh Kumar Sharma, Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Yaseen Ahmed, Danesh Singh, Satish Sharma, Rajinder Kumar, Janak Raj, Naranjan Sharma, Jyoti Parkash and others.
