JAMMU, Apr 24: New State Body of All Jammu Kashmir Ladakh Teachers Federation has been announced with Dev Raj Thakur as new State president and Rattan Lal Sharma as general secretary.
Maheshwar Prasad Sharma, Pardeep Sharma, Darshan Bharti and Kusam Kumari were nominated as vice presidents; Shivdev Singh, Manjeet Singh and Neeraj Sharma as secretaries; Ravinder Verma as treasurer, Mohan Singh as Internal Ankekshak, Kartar Chand as Training head, Radha Krishan and Kuldeep Singh as publicity incharge.
The body was announced on the conclusion of two- day workers training programmee (Karyakarta Abhyas Varg) of AJKLTF, which is affiliated with Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh.
Mohinder Kapoor, national organizing secretary of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh was the chief speaker on the occasion. 50 selected delegates from across the State participated in the training programmee.
During the two day training programmee, Jagdish Chowhan, national vice president and Pawan Mishra, organizing secretary Himachal Predesh, discussed various issues and aspects of organization in different sessions.
Mohinder Kapoor, in his concluding address, appealed the teaching community to come forward and lead the society as a part of most important aspect of education system.
