DODA, Mar 28: All Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF), affiliated with Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM), unit Doda has demanded increase in posts to district Doda in DPC of Teachers.
The demand was raised during a meeting of AJKLTF, under the chairmanship of District President Mohan Singh Parihar and Dr Ameet Singh District Secretary.
The meet expressed resentment over the ongoing process of departmental promotions of Teachers as Masters of Jammu Province in which only 1250 posts have been referred for vigilance clearance that too after a period of 8 years since 2014.
The participants sought to further take up this issue with Director School Education ,Jammu and Principal Secretary SED so that this meager number of 1250 be increased to 3000. They further added that concerned authorities must clarify the actual status of vacancies of masters in Doda district as there are apprehensions that the vacancies occupied for the purpose of drawal of salary by the surplus staff might not have been taken into consideration.
