REASI, July 5: A deputation of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) met Chief Education Officer (CEO), Reasi and apprised him about the problems being faced by the teacher community.
While speaking, Pardeep Kumar, provincial president, demanded engagement of teachers on contractual basis to fulfill the need of the students, drinking water and toilet facilities, release of enhanced honorarium and inclusion of their 5 years and 7 years service for promotion and retirement benefits.
CEO gave a patient hearing to demands and assured them that the same will be redressed at the earliest. He issued order of transfers as per norms and release of pay of Peoni zones for the month of May and June.
Among others present were district president Manjeet Singh, district convener Krishan Dutt, vice president Mohan Singh, Ravinder Sharma, Anil Kumar, Sushil Kumar, etc.
