JAMMU, Dec 29: All J&K Shree (AJKS) Guru Ravidass Sabha (Head Office, Krishna Nagar, Jammu) held its general house meeting under the convenership of Romesh Chander Bhasin (Chairman, Guru Ravidass Sabha, Bishnah) during which RC Bhasin was unanimously elected as convener of the Sabha for three months as first instance along with 10-member working committee.
“The working committee which included Prof GL Thapa, Prof CL Shivgotra, TC Bavouria, Dev Raj Angral, Tarsem Loach, Gourab Ravidassia, Kuldeep Thappa, Surjit Heer, Sham Kalsi and Joginder Paul, shall appoint an Election Board comprising 5 members including Chairman of the Board,” as per the resolution passed by the general house of the Sabha.
The Sabha resolved that the Election Board shall hold Sabha elections within three months from taking over while the Managing Committee of the Sabha under RC Bhasin shall provide all logistic support to the Election Board. The possession of all movable and immovable property of All J&K Ravidass Sabha shall be taken over hence forth by the Managing Committee.
“Further, Piran Ditta and Madan Lal Banalia, who were removed from their posts of president and general secretary, respectively forthwith, shall surrender all the belongings of the Sabha immediately,” Sabha resolved in the general house meeting.
