JAMMU, Nov 2: All J&K State Pensioners’ Association (AJKSPA) today submitted a memorandum of demands (MoD) to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.
Through the memorandum, the Association urged the LG to fulfill their long pending demands viz. enhancement of medial allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month on the analogy of Central Government employees. The Association also appealed the LG to release 4% DA in favour of State pensioners with effect from July 2022.
Earlier, in a meeting of the Association chaired by M L Abrol, all the demands contained in the MoD were discussed in detail by all the members. Among others who attended the meeting were Joginder Ghai, Suraj Singh, Raj Singh, Madan Lal Sharma and Mohd Shafi.
