AJKYF seeks restoration of 4G internet services

POONCH, Apr 27: All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) has demanded restoration of 4G Internet service in the Jammu and Kashmir.
In a press statement issued here today, AJKYF spokesperson, Haroon Rashid demanded early restoration of 4G internet services across the J&K UT and said that people of the region are totally relying on the internet and digital communication platforms to access life saving information on Covid-19 provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and other medical experts.
Rashid further said that even the doctors and the medical researchers are also struggling to access important information and have to wait for hours to download and access information such as guidelines for intensive care of the corona virus recommended by various health experts across the globe. The restrictions on high speed internet access has also affected the students, entrepreneurs, journalists, social activists and others in the region specially in backward areas like Rajouri and Poonch districts.
He urged upon the Central and UT administration for early restoration of 4G high speed internet service in J&K.
