JAMMU, Oct 24: The magazine of an AK rifle with 30 live rounds was found inside a minibus in Jammu city triggering panic among the passengers, police said today.
“A loaded magazine of an AK rifle was found in a minibus on Janipur-Parade route in the city. Panic stricken passengers informed the driver about it. He informed the police and handed over the magazine yesterday,” an official said.
A case has been registered at the Janipur police station in this regard.
“However, till now, no one has come forward to claim the magazine as there was a chance that it might have been left behind inadvertently by some security personnel”, he said.
