JAMMU, July 4: BJP leader and Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal here today released album of Pahari Dogri song ‘Jinde Meriye’ during a function.
The duet song sung by famous Dogri singers Sonali Dogra and Ashok Kumar Hans showcase the scenic beauty of hilly areas of Jammu region besides enriched culture and simple living of Dogras in mountainous regions.
The song also featured Rupali Sharma. Music composition of the song has been made by Sahil Nath, lyrics by Ashok Kumar Hans and videography was directed by K.K Malhotra which was assisted by Harsh Meenia.
Singers Ashok Kumar Hans and Sonali Dogra while speaking on the occasion said they were confident that the song would hit stands in neighbouring Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Delhi as well.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal highlighted that every volunteer of Team Jammu is making all out efforts during their respective activities in the entire region to promote mother tongue Dogri along with art, culture and folk.
He further said that such programmes and projects develop a sense of appreciation to further enrich Dogra culture amongst the younger generation.
Surinder Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Vikas Sharma, Sanjay Verma, Vasudev Singh, Aryan Sharma, Vasu Sharma, Abhi Meenia and Romesh Angurana were also present on the occasion.
