Addressing party workers at Makwal Camp in Marh today, the NC leader said that the BJP Government at the Centre and BJP-PDP Coalition in the State have adopted anti-border people policies leading to fast growing alienation among them. He said the residents of border area are our second line of defence. They are very brave and are needed to be encouraged. They are being neglected by this Government and now they are feeling alienated.
Sadhotra said Omar Abdullah Government has recommended to the Centre Government Rs 25 lakhs per family in lieu of final and one time settlement of PoK refugees of 1947, 1965 and 1971 but it is unfortunate that the BJP Government at the Centre and State released only Rupees 5 lakhs per family which is a big joke with the refugees. Moreover, even Rs 5 lakhs is not being given to many. .
