All India Devotional Song Competition begins tomorrow

KATRA, Sept 27: The 9-day long All India Devotional Song Competition will began on September 29 during which renowned Bollywood singers will perform daily.
“Chairman-cum-Managing Director J&K Bank, RK Chhibber, who will be the chief guest will inaugurate the event on September 29 in the presence of Chief Administrative Officer, SMVD Narayana Super Speciality Hospital, Dr (Brig) M M Harjai, who will grace the occasion as guest of honour,” disclosed Rakesh Wazir, chairman of Navratra Festival’s All India Devotional Song Competition Committee after holding discussions regarding preparations of the popular annual event with other committee members.
Wazir briefed that during 9-day long competition renowned Bollywood singers–Shanker Sawhney, Amrinder Bobby, Amarjit Bijli, Balraj, Sunil Mattoo, Jan Heer, Dr Sumangal Arora, Rampy Saaz and ‘Ni main loung ni tu lachi’ fame singer Mannat Noor and Masha Ali, will perform on daily basis besides performing their duties as judges of the competition.
Besides this, he said top media and film personalities have already given their consent to be there in the panel of judges for finale of All India Devotional Song Competition. Moreover, this year the former winners of the competition including Mool Raj, Sonali Dogra, Anjusha, Sanjeet Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Chaman Lehri, Kaustabh, Khushi etc. will also perform live one by one on daily basis.
Wazir elaborated that the 1st prize of the competition would be 3 lakh and recording contract with Venus Records and Tapes Limited. He further said that as per past practice live telecast of the programme for all nine days will be made through Shraddha Mh One from September 29 from 9 pm onwards daily, besides its telecast on many other channels including JK Media and Take One while 92.7 Big FM will be the Radio partner.
