JAMMU, Dec 23: Two-day All India Dogri Writers’ Conference concluded here today.
In the panel discussion session,   various  resolutions were passed  seeking inclusion of Dogri language as obligatory additional subject  at the primary level in the schools by the J&K Government,  Dogri teachers at the Secondary,  Higher Secondary and college levels, the opening of Departments of Dogri language in Central University Jammu, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University  Katra and Baba Gulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri,  purchase of books of the local writers in bulk for the school and college libraries including Ranbir and other Government libraries, uploading the publications of JKAACL  on internet,  starting the department of Folklore Studies in Universities of Jammu region, review of the Government decision to shift Dogri news section to Jammu, strengthening of the Dogri section of Jammu Division of JKAACL  by recruiting the staff and upgrading it, especially by the appointment of Chief Editor.
The first session of the 2nd day was started with the Paper reading. Two papers by Prof   Shashi Pathania on the topic Dogri Kahani Par Hoi Di Alochana- Ik Jaiza and by Dr Sunil Kumar on Dogri Nibandh Par Hoi Di Alochana- Ik Jaiza. Dr Om. Goswami, Dr Pratiyush Guleri,  Mohan Singh, Dr  Sushma Sharma were in the presidium.
In the second session, two more papers were presented by Pritima Sangra on the topic Dogri Upnyas Par Hoi Di Alochana-Ik Jaiza and  by Radha Davi Sharma on the topic Dogri Natak Te Ekangi Par Hoi Di Alochana.
The third session  was of panel discussions.  Dr  Krishan Lal (MLA),  Darshan Darshi and Prof. Lalit Mangotra were the panelists whereas Prof Pathannia was the moderator
Those poets who recite their poetry, were: Gianeshwar Sharma, Dhian Singh, N D Jamwal, Mohan Singh, Prof Champa Sharma, Sita Ram Sapolia, Virender Sharma Veer, Prakash Premi, Khajur Singh,  Vijay Sharma, Bishan Singh,  Dardi, Promila Manhas, Ushan Kirn Kiran, Inderjeet Kesar, Kewal Kumar Kewal, Ashok Amber,  Mohamad Rafeeq Rafeeq, Vijay Verma, Naveen Haldoonvi,  Prof. O P Sarswat, Dr Jatindra Udhampuri,  Puran Chand and  Shivdev Singh Sushil.
