JAMMU: A four-day long All India Inter-University Fencing Championship commenced on Sunday here at University of Jammu.
The championship was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor University of Jammu, Prof Manoj K Dhar. More than 500 fencers and technical officials from nearly 54 universities of the country will be taking part in the event concluding on January 1, 2020. The competitions will be held in men’s category.
The national competition is being organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. (AGENCIES)
