JAMMU, Apr 7: Former Minister and BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma today appealed the people to vote for party candidate from Jammu-Poonch parliamentary constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma in large number.
Sham Sharma who addressed a series of gatherings in Panchayat Mishriwala, Kangrail, Kallri/Pandorian and Purkhoo in Raipur Domana constituency of Jammu said the BJP has proved itself as a party of masses at every front and ensured overall development of all the three regions of the State.
Commenting on the language of opposition, Sharma said that Pakistan applauds such voice. He said that the three parties like Congress, NC and PDP have gone to “such a low level of politics that they are repeatedly questioning the air strike by the Indian Air Force on a JeM training centre in Pakistan”.
Further escalating its sharp attack on the opposition, Sham said, “What is beyond comprehension is Congress’ attitude. Is it the same Congress that Sardar Patel was a part of? Is it the same Congress that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was a part of, and fought for India’s independence,” he asked.
Congress always tried to strengthen the hands of anti Indian forces. Because of this mentality, these people raise questions on surgical strikes. They insult the bravery of our defence forces,” he said as he flayed the party and its allies.
Sham said it is shocking that Congress plays so low politics that in its manifesto has promised to revoke AFSPA, which will be morale boost to terrorists. The Congress manifesto also mentioned to abolish the sedition law if voted to power which totally exposed the real face of party. He termed the Congress manifesto is totally against national interests.
On this occasion, senior NC leader, Braham Dutt along with his hundreds of supporters joined Bhartiya Janata Party.
