All Party Migrant Committee to struggle for one time settlement

JAMAMU, June 30: A meeting of All Party Action Committee Migrants was attended by representatives of All migrant camps of Jammu and various migrant pockets.
In a joint statement issued by the Adhoc Committee through its organisers T K Bhat and others, the meeting stressed on one time settlement on the terms and conditions of the displaced people from Valley.
The speakers viz, Daya Krishen (Purkhoo Camp),Ashok Kumar (TRT Nagrota), Chuni Lal Raina (Bohri Talab Tillo), Bharat Kachro, Rajesh Kachru (Durganagar), T.K.Dhar, Piaray Lal Thusoo, Raj Kumar Ticku, Sunil Pandita, Vinod Wali, Ashwani Bhat, (from Jagti) expressed their views regarding the final future course of action and it was resolved that the Action Committee with the co-operation and co-ordination of all migrants either languishing in camps or residing in other migrant pockets, will fight for justice to seek one time dignified resettlement/rehabilitation, on the terms and conditions of real sufferers stake holders, as the 34 years of exile has now become beyond the tolerance of the hapless displaced people from Valley.
The meeting appealed the camp inmates of all migrant camps to nominate at least five members from each camp as well as from each section of migrant pockets to the organisers at Jagti, for forming a strong representative body of All Action Committee Migrants, and after that the office bearers of this Committee will be framed, to work for unity among migrants and put the demands especially that for one time settlement before the Government with one voice.
