All round development of backward areas priority of Govt: Aijaz

RAMBAN, Jan 30: Minister of Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Aijaz Ahmad Khan has said that the economic welfare of far-flung areas is the top priority of Government and several flagship programmes and welfare schemes are under implementation across the state.
Addressing a public meeting at Bandhar, Arnas after distribution of relief cheques among flood affected families, the Minister said that a Women Activity Centre and Community Hall would be constructed at Bandhar.
Responding to the demands of the locals, the Minister assured that all genuine demands and developmental needs would be redressed at the earliest. He issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officers for mitigating people’s genuine needs. He stressed upon the executing agencies to ensure time bound completion of all ongoing projects in the area for early benefits of the people.
The Minister during the tour inspected several under execution projects in the area and reviewed pace of progress of these, with the direction to the concerned for proper monitoring of the projects with judicious use of Government exchequer for building concrete infrastructure.
