JAMMU, Feb 12: Taking cognizance of some complaints against three Assistant Professors in different colleges of Kashmir Valley, the Higher Education Department has ordered immediate transfer of the trio besides initiating an enquiry into the allegations of sexual harassment against them.
Abdul Majid Bhat, Director Finance, Higher Education Department, has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer to conduct an enquiry into the purported allegations against Nisar Ahmad Wani (transferred from GCW Baramulla to GDC Billawar), Mehmood Ahmad Tak (transferred from GCW Anantnag to GDC Shopian) and Javaid Ahmad (transferred from GDC Magam to GDC Anantnag).
The Inquiry Officer shall submit the inquiry report within 15 days positively for the further action.
