JAMMU, Nov 4: Kashmiri Pandits today demanded that migrant candidates and voters be allowed to submit their forms in the office of Assistant Returning Officer’s (ARO) Office at Jammu in view of the heavy snowfall and weather conditions in Kashmir Valley.
The demand was made by BJP Displaced District president, Chand Ji Bhat All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference president, Advocate Ravinder Raina and BJP leader Bharat Ji Gosani.
They said that in view of the closure of National Highway and interior routes in Kashmir Valley the migrant candidates as well as voters can’t visit their areas and concerned AROs there to fill up the forms.
They said to make the filling up of forms procedure smooth and there is no wastage of time the Government should allow candidates and voters to fill up their forms at ARO’s office at Jammu.
In an appeal to Governor S P Malik they have sought his immediate intervention in the matter.
