NEW DELHI, Aug 19: Almond prices fell by Rs 200 per 40 kg at the dry fruit market in the national capital today due to muted demand from retailers and stockists amidst adequate stocks on increased supplies.
Almond (California) prices were down by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 18,700-18,900 per 40 kg and its kernel rates also eased by Rs 10 to finish at Rs 675-695 per kg, respectively.
Traders attributed the fall in almond prices to subdued demand from retailers and stockists amidst adequate stocks.
