SRINAGAR, June 24: Mian Altaf, Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology, called on N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at Raj Bhavan today.
During their meeting, the Governor and Mian Altaf discussed various important issues relating to preservation of the environment and increasing total area under forest cover in the State. The Minister apprised the Governor about the to-date status of environmental clearances in respect of several important State and Central developmental projects to be implemented in J&K.
The Governor and Mian Altaf also discussed issues relating to the forthcoming Amarnathji Yatra which commences on June 28,2014
