JAMMU, May 24: RM College of Education today organized an alumni meet in the college premises. Trustee of the college Rita Mengi, Principal P K Dhar, faculty members and students from different sessions participated in the meeting.
The programme started with the welcome address by Sharika Mahajan senior lecturer and in charge of the programme. Pass out students from different sessions and different states introduced themselves and shared their experience with others. To remind them of various activities Lect Manu Bakshi presented a power-point presentation.
While speaking on the occasion Rita Mengi, Trustee of the college laid stress on such meetings for improving the short comings of the college and also for further development of the college.
A committee of alumni was also framed on this occasion in which one of the students Shashi Jamwal was elected as president, Harshleen Kour as secretary, Anuradha Abrol as joint secretary and Priyanka as cashier along with fifteen members. Cultural programmes were also presented by students.
Principal of NSK High School, Channi Himmat, Jammu, S K Abrol was special guest on this occasion. At last the function was concluded with the speech of Principal P K Dhar.
