JAMMU, Sept 14: Amandeep Group of Hospitals, a leading healthcare provider in the region organized a conference on ‘Non-Surgical Solutions for Pain Management’.
During the conference, the group announced its collaboration with the Alleviate Pain Clinic and the establishment of a Pain Management Clinic. The clinic focuses on alleviating pain through Non-surgical procedures and is already offering Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy to its patients.
Dr Parampreet Singh Consultant Orthopaedics and Pain Management Specialist and Dr. Swagatesh Bastia Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedics (UK) and Fellow in Pain Management were the official speakers of the conference held at Amandeep Hospital’s OPD Clinic here.
Dr Parampreet Singh says, “PRP is one of the most advanced therapies available today, and it has been proven to be effective in treating various types of pain without any side effects”.
According to the speakers, PRP is highly effective in mitigating pain linked with joints, cancer, the spine, and more. Amandeep Hospital is well-equipped with high-tech Radio Frequency Ablation machines for this purpose. Moreover, the therapy is cost-effective and requires no hospitalisation, saving patients from a lot of inconveniences.
