SAMBA, June 27: A minor boy on way to Shri Amarnath Yatra along with his parents from Rajasthan drowned in a pond near Ghagwal in district Samba today.
Reports said 9- year-old, Kuldeep, son of Prahlad Kumar, resident of Bhilwara in Rajasathan was going for Shri Amarnathji pilgrimage alongwith his parents in a bus from Bhilwara. The bus stopped at a pond (Sarowar) near Nanath village along the National Highway in the early morning. Some of the passengers started taking bath. This boy also went into the pond and drowned. His dead body was fished out and then cremated at Samba after performing legal formalities by police.
