JAMMU, Oct 29: Amazon Institute of Hotel Management and Applied Nutrition run by Pushp Lata Chouhan Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust, organized a function to distribute diplomas and stipend among successful candidates.
Shamsher Singh Manhas Former MP Rajya Sabha was the chief guest on the occasion, while Suhail Kazmi member J&K Waqf Board was guest of honour and Sanjeev Manmotra President and Incharge North India BTSM presided over the occasion.
Shamsher Singh Manhas has introduced students to the various opportunities provided by Government for self employment schemes to make them self reliant so that after attaining skill they start earning for their livelihood.
Suhail Kazmi said that J&K has a great potential in Tourism Sector and the skilled man power is always in demand in this industry with the growth of Tourism Industry day by day. He encouraged the students to avail these kinds of opportunities provided by the Government and become self employed entrepreneurs.
Ruchi Chouhan Khan Founder of Pushp Lata Chouhan Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust and Managing Director of Amazon Institute of Hotel Management and Applied Nutrition has enlightened the students about the benefits of ‘Hunar Se Rozgar Tak’ scheme introduced by Ministry of Tourism Government of India. She said all the successful candidates are now eligible for getting jobs in various Government Departments like Police, Railways, Army, Forest and Agriculture where. She further added that Amazon in association with Visasmile International has organized an overseas placement drive for their candidates in Australia as these candidates are eligible to get job in Australia and many other countries.
Ruchi proudly announced that she was the first to start these courses by Ministry of Tourism in J&K in private sector and it was a very big challenge for her to make it a success.
