Ambardar inaugurates transformer at Durga Nagar

JAMMU, Oct 22: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar, today inaugurated a transformer of 100 kv at Vivek Vihar, Durga Nagar in presence of large gathering including X-En PDD, Sanjay Sharma and other officials of the Department.
The funds for the transformer were allotted by Mr Ambardar out of his CDF. In his address the MLC said that the displaced community living in the Jammu city are facing power crisis and in the coming years very soon other areas will be also provided transformer out of his CDF to solve the power crisis and this year about 11 transformers shall be installed in some areas on priority basis.
He impressed upon the PDD to install more transformers to combat the power crises. He further said that displaced people are confronted with numerous problems and identity and very little has been done to redress the very genuine problems of this exiled community. He assured the gathering that the present coalition Government and the Central Government is committed to address all the problems of KP displaced community by taking the members of community into confidence.
A large scale encroachment of properties left behind in the Valley and the shrines and the temples has taken place during the last 25years. He urged upon the audience to use RTI to get the correct information from the concerned authorities to get its reddresel. About return and rehabilitation he said that we have to take realistic, achievable and practical approach that is viable to save our identity and culture. He said that the need of the hour is unity and we all together have to tirelessly in the coming months to frame the policy and programmes for the welfare of the community.
