JAMMU Nov 25: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar today kick started various development works in Jammu and adjoining areas mostly executed through CDF of the Legislator.
Ambardar inaugurated the Road Metalling work of the three kms stretch from Gum pull to Purkhoo TRT which was the long pending demand of the displaced community living in the Purkhoo camp and while speaking on the occasion he said that due to his persistent and consistent efforts R&B Department started the work of the road and said that BJP is committed to the overall development of the Jammu region thus benefiting cross section of the society.
He said that this road was in total shambles since last so many years and the residents had to undergone lot of hardships but now he was sure that lot of their problems will get resolved with its metalling.
BJP Legislator also inaugurated the upgradation work completed at lane no 9 Surya Vihar Bohri for which 8 Lakh CDF was provided by the Law maker. While interacting with the residents of the colony MLC said that he has given the instructions to the engineering team of Jammu Municipal Corporation to construct the road and sewerage outlet and ensure that there is no water logging on it in future which sometimes during the heavy downpour would enter the household and damage their belongings.
MLC said that BJP unlike the previous Governments will make sure that Jammu gets its due development without any bias and prejudice.
Amongst other who were present on the occasion included Exn Pramodh Kumar, AEE Rajeev Pandoh and officials of the R&B Department.
