JAMMU, July 8: Ambedkar Yuva Sangathan has demanded CBI enquiry into purported manipulation of Reservation Roster in Central University Jammu.
“The CBI probe will establish the criminal conspiracy behind swapping the reserved positions and involvement of the Vice-Chancellor, who should be immediately removed as he has already completed his tenure,” said Satish Kumar, general secretary the Sangathan, while addressing a press conference today.
Appreciating the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) for its direction to CUJ to immediately stop the recruitment process over the swapped positions and must not do swapping, Satish Kumar alleged that the Vice-Chancellor CUJ swapped the reserved positions with criminal intention.
“On the one hand Modi Government has brought the new laws for the prevention of atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes , on the other hand person like the incumbent VC with the criminal intentions are fiddling with the rights of OBCs, SCs and STs,” he said and warned to launch a massive agitation over the issue.
RD Thappa, President of Ambedkar Yuva Sangathan alleged that whenever the candidates from SC, ST or OBC apply for the job of Universities , such type of tactics are used to bar them from getting the job.
Others, who were present in the press conference, included, Sikander, Neeraj, Rajeev , Dilawar , Advocate Raman and Sham Lal.
