Ambulance grounded, people face problems

SAMBA, Nov 17: The people in village Sumb and surrounding areas face many difficulties due to grounding of ambulance at Primary Health Centre, Sumb in Samba district for last one month after its drive went on leave but the officers of the Health Department are taking no steps in solving the problem.
According to the reports, the ambulance driver of the Primary Health Centre Sumb is on leave for last one month, due to this the people of village Sumb and its adjoining areas face many difficulties. They alleged that the people are forced to hire private taxis and go to district Hospital Samba for check up, but the Health Department are in deep slumber.
Knowing that the driver of the ambulance is on leave but the officers of the Department failed to depute the new driver in PHC so that the people don’t face any problem.
