AMCCC asks Govt to take camp people into confidence on return

JAMMU, Oct 5: A meeting of All Migrant Camps Coordination Committee (AMCCC), Core Committee was held at Jagti township today which was chaired by R N Dhar, general secretary and senior leader of the Committee.
The meeting among other Core Committee members was attended by Desh Rattan Pandita president, AMCCC, R L Sharma, S K Bhat, B L Koul, Daleep Pandita, Daleep Raina, R N Pandita, Chaman Lal Pandita, K V, Amit Bhat, Ravi Dhar, Daljeet Singh and Ashok Sharma.
AMCCC president Desh Rattan while addressing the meeting said that many KP organizations and their heads met so many Union Ministers as well as Union Home Minister, Raj Nath Singh.
The meeting said the Union Government considers Kashmir is incomplete without KPs and their return to Valley will strengthen secular forces there. While supporting Union Government’s move that KPs should return and all the people belonging to agriculture sector, trade and orchardists are willing to return so that they will cultivate their land encroached by some mafia groups in the Valley.
The meeting decided to frame a blue print and road map to be presented before the Union Government in coming days.
It warned those forces who are sabotaging the return policy and demanded that the people especially putting up in camps be taken into confidence on return issue.
It demanded encroached land of KPs be restored, one time compensation to over aged youth, compensation to KPs whose land and other property was damaged in rain and floods, all the temples which were damaged in floods need to be reconstructed, one member from each KP family be given a Government job, compensation to houses, shops and other property which were torched during turmoil, soft loans for traders, enhancement of cash relief to Rs 10,000 and settlement of medical claims.
