AMCCC holds meeting at Jagti

JAMMU, Apr 18: A meeting of All Migrant Camps Coordination Committee (AMCCC) was held at Jagti township under the Presidentship of Desh Rattan Pandita and vice chairman  B.L. Koul.
Desh Rattan while addressing the meeting said that AMCCC is working for betterment of lakhs Kashmiris either they are living in Camps, Non Camps, in Delhi or in Jammu.
He while highlighting the role of his organization said AMCCC has protested at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi for three consecutive days during the first week of April especially for to release the ration to Kashmiri migrants and for other demands also. Later they met the officers of Home Ministry and discussed the situation created after implementation of NFSA on migrants.
He said the delegation was assured by MHA that the ration will be provided to the migrants as per old scale and Ministry will issue directives to State Government soon in this regard.
Rattan said on behalf of KPs AMCCC has complimented Home Minister Raj Nath Singh,  Rajat Punhani Joint Secretary (J&K), Ministry of Home Affairs and J&K CM Mehooba Mufti for taking keen interest in providing ration to migrants as per old scale.
He said the other problems which were discussed included release of balance ex-gratia of houses, encroachment of all Land of migrants, construction of New Temples in Valley at their original places, healing touch policy for over age youths, one job to one family and so on.
Those present in the meeting were C L Raina, K V, M K Raina, Daizy Bhat, P N Jalali, Manmohan Kanth, Chand Koul, Ajay Bhat, Bittu Ji Bhat, Sameer Wali, K S Bedi  etc.
