JAMMU, Aug 2: All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) today held a meeting under the chairmanship of its chief patron Desh Rattan Pandita and termed the recently held Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs as useless.
While speaking, Pandita demanded separate statehood for the people of Jammu and asked the leaders and social activist of Jammu division to be united and start to fight for their statehood.
He criticized the Central Government for ignoring the people of Jammu division and minorities of J&K. He said that separate State is the only viable solution to save Jammu from discrimination by Kashmiri rulers for long time.
Pandita also demanded separate homeland for Kashmiri Pandits in right side of the river Jhelum and also demanded Union Territory (UT) status for Ladakh.
Among others present were senior vice president RL Sharma, Raj Nath Dhar and Daljeet Singh.
