JAMMU, Feb 13: A delegation of All Minority Employees Association Kashmir, (AMEAK) led by its president, Sanjay Koul , held series of meetings with dignitaries including Chief Secretary of J&K UT, Atal Dulloo Commissioner Secretary GAD, Sanjeev Verma , Principal Secretary Finance Department. Santosh D Vaidya , Administrative Secretary Education Department, Piyush Singla, Director General Accounts & Treasuries, Mahesh Dass , Commissioner R&R (Mig.) Arvind Karwani, Advisor to Finance Department, S. L. Pandita and other officers.
During these discussions, some burning issues were addressed, said the AMEAK in a handout.
The officers gave assurances to the delegation to expedite the processing of all pending cases within a specified time frame under rehabilitation Assistance Scheme. The deployment of employees suffering from chronic diseases was also agreed in principle, approval for pending functional promotions including various posts under PMDP such were discussed
Besides, de-reservation, revalidation and Operationalisation of waiting list, specifically for MTS and assistant compiler posts, pending allied works under-construction in colonies and allotment of quarters thereof were also discussed. Addressing issues like internal road connectivity, laying of tiles in lanes, fencing, parks/grounds, community halls, shops, etc. in under-construction colonies and expediting the allotment of constructed quarters was stressed.
The security scenario for minority employees of Kashmir keeping in view the upcoming elections was also deliberated and it was stressed that special casual leaves for celebration of Shivratri festival be approved
Moreover, discussions were also held regarding the supernumerary status of the PM Package posts and approval be given to those candidates who could not join their duties earlier and it was requested that the terminated cases in PMDP be given an opportunity to join the services.
