Amidst lockdown, BJP starts distributing ration among needy

JAMMU, Mar 26: Amidst the lockdown to prevent Coronavirus infection, J&K BJP has come forward to ensure that essential supplies remain unhindered among the masses and ensured that the ration, medicines and other supplies are distributed to the needy persons through its leaders.
J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina and general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul are supervising the situation due to Corona spread and also the preparations by BJP volunteers to aid the needy populace. BJP has deputed party vice-president Yudhvir Sethi assisted by party programme incharge, Ajay Pargal to coordinate all the steps to be taken by party leaders.
On call of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, BJP has asked its leaders to enlist all the persons belonging to lower economic strata and provide all assistance to the needy families in their vicinity. Party is also coordinating for the safety of J&K students trapped in the other states. For all the assistance in Corona lockdown, BJP has also issued two helpline numbers of its senior leaders as 94191 97280 (Yudhvir Sethi) and 94191 22949 (Ajay Pargal).
BJP has asked its district presidents and Mandal presidents to ensure that all the possible help and coordination to the Government agencies is provided at the Ward, Panchayat and the booth level.
Senior BJP leaders especially former ministers and MLAs have been asked to ensure that all essential commodities reach common masses in the days of lockdown to all the native population as well as the migratory population like laborers from UP, Bihar, Uttrakhand, Jharkhand, Orissa etc. Party leaders were allotted district as follows.
Dr. Nirmal Singh along with Ayodhya Gupta was allotted Jammu district. Anuradha Charak along with Ajay Vaid under the guidance of Sat Sharma were allotted Jammu West district. Sham Lal Sharma, R S Pura district, Dr. Narinder Singh, Samba district, Vikas Choudhary, Jammu rural, Anju Dogra and Rekha Mahajan, Akhnoor district, Yudhvir Sethi, Nowshera, district. Baji Abdul Wahid, Rajouri, Vibodh Gupta, Poonch, district, Shakti Parihar, Kathua, Gopal Mahajan, Basohli district, Dr. D K. Manyal Udhampur district, Priya Sethi. Reasi district, Pawan Khajuria, Ramban district, Arvind Gupta Doda district and Sunil Sharma, Kishtwar district.
Girdhari Lal Raina was given charge of Kashmir Displaced district. Dr. Ali Mohammad Mir of Srinagar district. Sheikh Bashir Anantnag, Ashiq Hussain Dar Kulgam, Sofi Yusuf, Shopian. Veer Saraf, Pulwama. Dr. Farida Khan, Baramulla. Mudassar Wani, Kupwara. Bilal Parrey, Budgam, Arif Raja, Ganderbal and Dr. Rafi Bandipora district.
