JAMMU, Aug 25: JMC Councillor, Amit Gupta here today started roof work of a multipurpose community hall having facilities of kitchen, store and guest room for the people of Rajiv Colony near Shiv Mandir.
The hall will be constructed under JMC budget at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor said that it was a long pending demand of the residents of Rajiv Colony area and the same will be fulfilled soon after completion of the work.
He said that the community hall will cater to the needs of the people of the area and any sort of function or other programme can be done in the hall at a reasonable price.
Those present on the occasion were Vijay Singh Manhas, Gopal Dass Sharma, Romesh Chander, Puran Chand, Karta Chand, Rakesh Kumar and others.
