JAMMU, Mar 23: Regional Director Survey and Land Records (Ex-Officio Settlement Officer) Udhampur/ Reasi Amit Sharma held review meeting of revenue officials, followed by field inspections and public meetings in various Tehsil and Niabat offices of the Reasi district.
Sharma initially chaired a meeting at district headquarters and assessed the progress in writing jamabandies, clearing pendencies of mutations, preparedness for upcoming Rabi Girdawari be going from April 1, progress in Court cases disposal, removal of illegal encroachments from State, common and kcharai lands, conduct of surprise inspections on a regular basis, following of revenue laws and standing instructions issues from time to time and assessment of progress in finishing the scanning work in the district.
He also held public interaction-cum-darbar at Ransoo Niabat headquarters (Shiv Khori base camp) and spot instructions were given to Rajesh Baru Tehsildar Pouni and Ashok Sharma NT Ransoo for exhibiting total professionalism in disposal of revenue disputes of the area in a time-bound manner.
