JAMMU, May 8: Amit Sharma, Regional Director, Survey & Land Records (Ex-Officio Settlement Officer) Udhampur/Reasi was today invited to J&K Institute of Management & Rural Development (IMPA&RD) to guide young KAS probationers on ‘Smart Cities’ during the ongoing foundation course here.
During his discourse, RD S&LR Amit Sharma shared his perspectives towards building smart cities of Jammu & Srinagar in the State and also motivated the KAS probationers to take a lead in contributing towards achieving success in this mission of building twin capital smart cities.
Initially, Amit listened to the thoughts of officers hailing from almost all districts of the State with varied backgrounds and their ideas of urban development, sustainable livelihood and decongestion of excessive pressure on existing capital cities, etc.
