Jammu, Oct 5: Amit Sharma, IAS, who was recently transferred from UT of Ladakh to Mizoram State by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has been posted as Special Secretary with Independent Charge for two important departments in Mizoram, namely Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) and Cooperation by the Governor of Mizoram.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Amit played an instrumental role in successful implementation of key e-Governance related projects in J&K like Computerization of Land Records, successful implementation of e-Office instance and CRS in both Civil Secretariats of Jammu and Srinagar, provisioning of online services to the citizens and likewise, successful setting-up of State Data Centre and State Wide Area Network in the UT of Ladakh in the recent past.
