JAMMU, Sept 10: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Amit Gupta here today started PHE pipe work at Kasim Nagar area of his Ward No. 19.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor said that the pipe work was the long pending demand of the residents of the area who had no other option than to drink contaminated water since past many years.
“Now the wait is over and people of the locality will now get clean drinking water after the new pipes are laid,” he maintained expressing thankfulness to DC Jammu and the concerned Chief Engineer.
Gupta further said that more such developmental works will be done in the area in phased manner.
Many prominent persons of the area were also present on the occasion.
